the software that fleece sends you. you can adjust where the nozzle is based on rpm and fuel. i should be able to get it so i don't smoke at all unless i just really hammer it down (which i don't usually do)

Oh ok. Are you going to wastegate it? Where did you find your manifold?

nope no wastegate. my manifold is a PDI manifold. i got kind of hooked on the BD pulse manifold i was running, so i got another one instead of a stocker.

sled pulling? i'm nut sure if this turbo is durable/efficient enough for that. it only has an hx40 sized wheel. if i was to pick something for pulling, it would be a little bigger, and not variable.

haha thats what i was thinking too, its only a 60mm compressor wheel haha. for sled pulling with a vgt if you are into that i would go with an he451 off of an isx cummins, they neck down to a 9cm housing for quick spool and if you find the right one its a 64mm compressor wheel! i had one but sold the truck before i installed it. plus the fleece performance vgt controller will run it also, maybe something to look into for you if you haven't already bought the 351, iirc i picked mine up on ebay for around 600-700 bucks is all.

I havent got the 351 yet. How does the 451 compare in spool up and such? does it have the exhaust brake? What would i find it on?

i think im gonna go with the 351. Maybe try the 451 or twins down the road.

the 451 only goes down to a 9cm housing the same size as the 351cw thats on the 03-06 cummins and up to iirc 26cm. so it would not have the exhaust brake option. spool up would be slower in comparison but faster than the other 64mm turbos you would get. i have seen somewhere a guy used a 351ve and a 551ve as a twin setup but i dont remember how he said it ran. oh the 451 is on the cummins isx, big truck engines.
