so not to be ignorant, but was that the problem, the tranny? im having the exact same problem in my 02, started one day after power shifting, took it to the shop to have them diagnose it as im active duty army and barely have time to think let alone pull that heavy *** tranny out in my driveway, they put the clutch on the press and told me its in spec, manthel at south bend has overnighted me 2 different sets of hydros and a new pilot bearing and still not fixed! so whats next...?

ballzoutracer is it not shifting or is it grinding going into gear. Yes my problem was the trans needed rebuilt. My sycros were shot. I will say one thing I think that the double disc clutch's are to much for these trannys. I have had my rebuilt trans for about 6 months and I belive that the sycros on 3rd and 4th are already starting to wear out. I think that there is way to much rotating mass for the stock sycros to handle. I wish some one would make a stronger set.
