at 300HP I would not consider you a good candidate for twins. As Dave said its when you get above 400HP and tow then a single turbo becomes bit of a compromise. I don't like towing above 350HP with my 62mm. The truck runs better and cooler at a lower power rating. Doing a small turbo upgrade (in order of air flow) HX35/40, HE351, s300g or 62/65 turbo will work fine. Some airflow mods like a Tunnel Ram Intake plate that gets more air to cylinders 1, 5 & 6 and a 3pc manifold will bothe lower EGT about 50 degrees depending on mods.
