Default Tunnel Ram Intake Manifold

Tunnel Ram Intake Manifold
This product greatly improves the airflow on your 5.9L cummins. Basically there is a bottleneck in the intake system. The air comes out of the intake manifold horn and then has to do a 90 degree turn to reach the cylinders. Cylinders 1,5&6 run hotter on our trucks because they are further away from the intake of air. Among other mods, pulling trucks use $1600 custom intakes with individual runners to get rid of this problem.

You can take your head off and port the intake. This is expensive and takes a lot of time. The gains you will see with this Tunnel Ram Intake Plate will be equal to a mildly ported head.
1. Boost (a restriction) will decrease slightly
2. Spool up will be about 100rpm sooner.
3. Less unburnt fuel= more efficient.
4. Temperatures in Cylinders 1, 5 & 6 will decrease about 100 degrees, lowering overall temps by 50degrees.

It is made out of Aluminum and is compatible with stock or aftermarket air intake manifolds. If you are able to increase flow to cylinders 1, 5 & 6 by 10% you will gain HP if you are over-fueled (as many of us tend to be.) Notice the "step" that further restricts airflow in the last picture for 2nd gen.

Pricing until April 1st is $210 for 98-02 + metal gasket for $20. Starting April 2nd it will be $230 + gasket. (stock gasket on 2nd gen intake is paper and is not re-usable)

the intake on the tunnel Ram intake is slightly tilted allowing for you to keep the heater grid and run an aftermarket intake horn.
