what transmission??
I like my DTT, but if I did it again, I would go with Goerend for sure. My DTT is solid, but when I nuked it, I didn't get the customer service I was hoping for. They said I'd be better off having a local shop rebuild it, and when I bought the parts from them, they shorted me parts, and charged more than they quoted me. They also told me to just reuse some of the clutches that they shorted me as well. Just seemed a little unprofessional to me. Hopefully I won't have to build that trans again though, and thats part of the reason I bought a stick. Also, the tech help I received for missing down shifts and early upshifts wasn't great either.

well thanks guys! all the opinions help. i found out that my truck was having gasket leaks in the rear so im going to try and use that again the dealership sayin they knew thr tranny was goin out and try and get them to at least go half on a transmission or even the whole thing! i wish! its not like the owner doesnt walk around with that kinda money for pocket change
good luck with that strategy, I used to work at a car dealership, they are tighter than a dolphin's a$$. I hope that works out for you. I know i didnt have that kinda change when my tranny went out a few years ago. It wasnt till just a few months ago that I paid off the twins and the tranny I put on the credit card. At the time my tranny blew i had like $50 to my name. Was not a fun experience.
does goerend only have two different trans? i called there and they said the smaller one with 350hp max was like 2900 and the 350+ was 3900...does that come with this beefed up torque converter and value body full billet or is it just a smaller close to stock one? what do you guys have in your goerend trans?
