I just bought an 02 Dodge 2500 diesel with a rebuilt Roadripper 2000 automatic. The truck shifts good but the previous owner wired up the TCC lockup and overdrive to switches which is very annoying for a daily driver. Im in the process of sorting through this mess to get rid of the switches but hit a roadblock. I have receipts from the rebuild stating that it's a transmission from a 95 dodge truck, no I.D or anything else. When I pull up schematics for the 02 I find an 8 wire connector for the transmission solenoid assembly. The transmission I have only has a 3 wire connector. I am new to Chrysler so im wondering if someone can tell me what transmission I have and what I have to do to get the convertor lockup and overdrive working without a switch with my 02 PCM.
