I have a nv4500 transmission and am installing it on my first gen. It was previously a getrag 5spd. I bought the bell housing for the first gen installation. The guy at the trans shop has no idea how to mount it and is having trouble. I have had my truck in the shop for over 2 months and really need my truck back. Any help is needed thanks!

 

Well what kind of trouble is he having?

 

He says he can't connect it because i need a clutch fork? and hydraulic cylinder?

 

I think these sorts of swaps are best not done by "professionals"

 

I think the advanced adaptors bellhousing uses the Getrag parts.
