transmission build problem. any help is welcome.

Default transmission build problem. any help is welcome.

i just got the o.d. section done and went to put it on the transmission and it wont go together. it gets about a half an inch or so away from mating together and thats it. any help is needed. its got a dtt tranny rebuild kit.

Fixed it. all i needed was a big brass hammer.

the rear planet and other splined thing the intermediate shaft goes in have to line up, when you put the OD section back together in the press you have to use a special tool to keep them aligned right, if you use a light and look down into the od section you will be able to see what im talking about

this happened to me too you gotta take it apart and line up the splines u can look down the od unit with a flashlight and the splines gotta be lined up
