Default New transmission questions

So I blew the trans on my 96 dodge and there's a local guy that says he'll rebuild it and install all for 2200 bucks. Word around town says he does good honest work and he's reliable. What I want to know is will this transmission hold up against the no fuel plate and 4k gsk that I have on it, the other one didn't. The trans build that the guy is doing for me consists of

"This transmission has all new High Quality Borg Warner or Raybestos frictions, new pump bushings, paper gaskets, metal clad seals, and all new seals gaskets filter, Updated Overdrive Snap Ring, and Updated Accumulator Spring and more. This Transmission also comes with a Rebuilt Governor Pressure Solenoid and a new Governor Pressure Sensor"

Also has a transgo stage 2 shift kit and billet torque converter. Is this a strong build that won't be destroyed by my engine, I do tend to drive a little on the rough side but not all the time

It sounds like it could hold up with what you have for mods.
Do you have a trans temp gauge? If not I would recommend it. I would also recommend a deep trans. Pan if you don't have one now.

My transmission went 3 weeks ago and im in the same situation as you are in. I have local guy doing it who my family has known for a while. he says it will cost around 2k. he is doing heavy duty tc and rebuild kit, suncoast valve body and billit input shaft. also splicing my trans temp into the hot line for tc. He says he has done hundreds of these and will withstand the power, and i explained to him i am will be doing truck pulls. and he warranties all the work, so i trust him. you should be fine for your setup... i am getting truck back today and let you know how it feels.

definetly a must for any automatic transmission. have them splice into one of the lines, ask them wich is best. i have glowshift cupons good through the end of the year if you decide on ordering some send me a message, or email. there like 15% off or 20$ off if you want them ill send you the code.
