You have an H1C on a 94?

at 284,000 your HG is probably already toast I have pulled 2 down now one at 80,000 and the other at 143,000 bolth had cracked gaskets and were leaking into the other cylinders and bolt holes if I were you I would get a new HG and some bolts and spend the evening changing it out then you would be good to go

As far as chargers go there is some good ones to be had for cheep!

Yea I have never driven a standard truck with a hx35 so im honestly not sure how much better they are. They were all autos or with aftermarket chargers.
