Default he351 on a 12 valve?

hey guys I was wondering if putting a common rail turbo on my truck would be a good idea? I've searched around on here and cant find a solid answer, all the threads end up with a couple guys having a pissing match with no real answer.

from what i can gather they're a pretty popular upgrade, the exhaust housing is smaller, but it spools faster and is capable of handling higher temps and higher boost pressures, whether they're a more reliable turbo or not, i don't know

I have buddy that is all about the he351 I know they are an undivided exhaust housing instead of the divided ones like our trucks come stock with.
