Side to side , up and down but not any in and out that I tell. I pulled it off the other day and drilled the divider and readjusted the wastegate. I thought it was stuck shut but the po had it tightened so it would not open. I was hitting 42 psi now I'm at 35 as I bury the pyro by 35-40 mph. If I roll into the throttle I will barely bury the 1500 pyro but as soon as I hit lock up in od it starts dropping back down to 1200-1300. And it does this with little to no smoke. Only when I floor it from a dead stop or cruising at a low rpm.

hey Mike, if you get a 4in downpipe your egt's will drop quite a bit. you will probable be suprized at what you get by freeing up the exhaust side of things before you bite the bullet on a different turbo.

Does a 4" system come with a down pipe? I found a diamond eye down 4" pipe for 120.00

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I mean 108.00$ it's for a hx40 though

Make sure you hog out your manifold if your running a 12 valve... thats a HUGE drop in EGTs, and spools faster afterwards...

I have a few older vehicles for sale- funding for my transmission upgrades. If I get all three sold around the same time I may get a billet input as well as a single disk and shift kit or valve body. Thanks for the help everybody
User name was turbomat1 and jeff garmon did a lot of the tuning.

You could always go with a larger turbine housing and spray the hell out of it too.

For me to hit 12s, it took a 62/65/12, 5x12s and 024 DVs.

If your turbo has a little bit of side to side play, that's ok. If it has any in and out play, I wouldn't push it.
I would recommend a similar turbo, but weight would be the biggest factor to going fast with less.

When I pulled my my turbo I noticed how much extra material there was in the turbo flange on the exhaust manifold compared to the gasket. Also inside the exhaust housing on the turbo. I was drilling my divider out and inspecting my wastegate that was not working. It works now. I did see some 150.00 dollar hx52 cores on ebay. Lol
