Default Injector Nozzles and Delivery Valves...

Ok, i always sound like a total newbie with all these questions... but it's better to ask than to **** something up...

I'm thinking about getting 191 DVs as i'm always hungry for more power...

With the stock charger, will this toast my EGTs or can the gas be held back with the skinny pedal ?

What is the difference in buying just the nozzles for the injectors rather than buying injectors with the bodies...

and what would be a good turbo to run with what i have in my signature + 191DVs...

as i mentioned before, i use the truck for hauling cars around... only one at a time...

but i also like to get on it when i don't have the trailer hooked up... and occasionally take it down the strip...

I just installed rebuilt 215 injectors and 026 dv's and I can feel quite a difference. Not quite as big of an increase as the 4k gsk but definately noticable. I have to be much more careful on wet pavement now. Even at 55 mph. My egts are about the same, I actually think I'm at a higher rate of speed when I bury my pyro than before I istalled the injectors/dv's. I had the crusty old stock 160 injectors and 131 dv's. I'm goin to install my rack plug tomorrow and totally remove my fuel plate . My truck also felt faster when i adjusted my wastegate down to 35-36 psi and drilled my divider on my wh1c. It was non functioning and I was seeing 42 psi and higher egts temps that also got hot quicker.

just so you know... (I forget the names at the moment... ) but the 160 pump diverter valves (131?) actually have a smaller shoulder and flow more than the 215 pump ones... (181's)

I thought it was the other way around. I picked up a custom ground set for 150.00 shipped without a core trade in. 026 size

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

What about 191s, 042s and such. Just when I thoughts I was figuring things out.

Yes, the "workshop" room is carpeted, the garage itself has tiles...

best i understand it, from small to big

131's
181's
hybrid 131/181's
191's
.024's
.022's
full cuts/lazers

i dont know where the 026's or 042's come into it. i am under the impression the 024's and .042's are the same animal the stamping differs between manufacturer

the 131's do have a smaller shoulder but the 181's have a differnet cut to them. if you look at side by side pictures of them you can see it. the 181's groove is larger and higher up in the valve.

well... it could be either way, but the way I read the cut, it seems to have a more full flow.

Eitherway its not a huge difference. I wouldn't spend the money or effort to change out either.
