nv 5600 reverse

so I finally got around to changing my fluid yesterday. HAHAHHA
Bought the truck last year with 10k on fresh rebuild. I put 15k on it. Build tag was $5600 (ironic) with a new clutch, bd short shifter, fast coolers, yada yada.
So it had 25k on it... still all sealed up and dry on the outside.
Drained it.
Didn't bother with the fill plug, dumped 8qts amsoil sync in the shifter house.
THEN I poured all the old fluid into the amsoil bottles.... 5 qts. WOWOWOW... people suck.
So this shop puts the additional capacity coolers on... then looks at the book and it says 5 qts so in go 5 quarts.. probably through the shifter as well.
Probably put 30mi on it so far and it's much better. Jury is still out on the BS shifter.. we'll see if it improves much more after towing this week.

All reports I've read indicate the short shifters tend to be notchy, and make the already notchy NV5600 even more notchy. That was the reason I did not acquire one when I owned my truck...
