Default truck starts then immediately shuts off / hard starting

Hey guys, hope someone can help. My truck just started this today. It has always ran great with no issues. It's all stock with 122,000 miles. I changed the fuel filter less than 1000 miles ago. It was running perfect. I got home and went to start it 20 minutes later and then it would start right up for a few seconds and shut off. It did this several times, now won't start at all. I checked under the hood, everything's tight and no leaks. Would a fuel pump or injector pump go out just like that, or could it be something else? It didn't give any signs of a problem, and no lights came on. I replaced both batteries and alternator 3 months ago. Any suggestion? Thanks

My guess is FCA, unplug it and see if it starts. If it does then your FCA is gone.

Thanks for the response. I don't know what happened. Today, it started right up and I've had no issues. All I did was disconnect and reconnect all of the connectors. I hope this isn't the beginning of an expensive problem down the road. I am going to change the fuel filter today, but other than that, I don't know what it could be since there were no codes. What are the symptoms of failing injectors or an injector pump? Thanks again.

what i have experienced with injectors going out is a louder ticking noise, hard to start, and when you rev it up and it hangs, you have an injector going out

Appreciate the response. Lucklily, based on what you said, that's not the case here. With regular maintenance, how many miles could I expect to get before something like that happens? Also, do you add anything to the fuel? I've seen people put a quart of oil or Lucas injector treatment at every fill up. Thanks again

well i bought my truck with 208,000 miles and the PO had done NO maintenance and i noticed the ticking noise and taking forever to start is what made me change them so if there keept up, clean, and no lack of fuel, they should last a long time. if there the reman injectors, the little rubber ball tends to go out, then when they rebuild them they use a steel ball (so ive been told) and it helps them last a lot longer. but i really dont use any additive, i know i should but im in the same boat, im not shure what is going to work or what is a waste of time and money.
