Im with Dr.Evil, but have seen hundreds and hundreds of 3rd gens and never seen one cracked. Where are these cracking? Maybe everyone should move up here? Im just saying

My 2003's dash its cracked quite bad the truck was originally from Texas and is now in Kentucky so both places get really hot in the summer so thats probably the reason but chrysler used the same cheap

plastic in all thier vehicles during this time frame its ridiculous. There are hundreds of different types of vehicles by different brands that live in the same environment yet they have no problems holding together

99' 1500 cracked and trashed it in the dumpster, nothing but a view of the gauges and duct work. 99 2500 cracked down the center the column covers gone. Whats next, I have an 04 and just waiting, I don't dare touch it, looks like it's ready to crack anytime, we have taken bets as to the date.

Dash cracking 3rd gen

So this is an old post... Have we heard anything yet? I've never heard anything about them recalling as f yet, I've owned my Cummins for 15yrsand have always had the problem with the severe cracked dash,my truck is from Phoenix
