Ps a good set of stubby wrenchs and the line wrench ment for the truck make getting the back line much easier.
I'm with you on this one 100%. That stubby for the #6 injector line makes a WORLD of difference!!!

Your right, It is pretty hard to damage a line. That's why I leave them on. Your correct way isn't the only correct way.

why work harder to get the pump off when it takes 5 minutes more to take them all off? The lines are pretty tough and if you scar the line a little emery cloth will fix it all up. But I still recommend pulling them if It's your first time, you'll earn new respect for those rear lines . And while we are on the topic we should also address that when we talk about pulling the lines we are not talking about pulling the line holders just the brackets that attach the lines to the head. It's not like you can't get them back together but it can be a pain , and It's not really required to take the pump off.

It's not really that much harder, and yes I have had all the lines off. I was dumb enough to take them all apart the first time. THAT was fun.

one comes in once in a while without holders... broken and bent lines. It makes for a bad bad day
