VP44 swap
#21
Didn't say it couldn't be done, said to do it correctly. It's so easy to take the lines off, and It's much harder to damage a line. When we install vp pumps we clean the lines and that entire side of the head so we do it anyway. Clean parts make an impression on our customers . We want them to know we have gone the extra mile.

Ps a good set of stubby wrenchs and the line wrench ment for the truck make getting the back line much easier.

why work harder to get the pump off when it takes 5 minutes more to take them all off? The lines are pretty tough and if you scar the line a little emery cloth will fix it all up. But I still recommend pulling them if It's your first time, you'll earn new respect for those rear lines . And while we are on the topic we should also address that when we talk about pulling the lines we are not talking about pulling the line holders just the brackets that attach the lines to the head. It's not like you can't get them back together but it can be a pain , and It's not really required to take the pump off.
