Really depends on what you want to do and what you are eventually going to be doing with your fuel system.

On a stock truck there are really two good options - 1) on the outlet of the fuel filter housing or 2) on the test port of the VP-44. Both are pictured below:

Youll need a needle valve and a 12mm tapped banjo bolt. If you are installing an Airdog or Fass you might have to change the install slightly from whats pictured. Hope this helps.

Greetings EVERYBODY,
After replacing my NV5600 with a RoadRanger, the best money I EVER spent involved stepping up to a FASS 150 . I'm not exactly too sure why it took me 350K plus miles to make the change but I'm way past happy knowing I'll never have a fuel delivery problem with my 01' HO EVER again.
After refusing to give up the funds for the FASS all these years and trying most of the alternative (cheap) systems,
a simple idiot light convinced me that I was only fooling myself about the fuel demands a loaded rig @ 35K plus needs. And NO more worries when you're in the middle of nowhere at 3AM looking for a oil rig that's waiting on your load.
Chrysler/Dodge have a racket going with the continuous fuel delivery problems with the Cummins. This one factor
along with transmission's most likely account for 99% of Ram Problems.
