It could be a crappy rebuild...how much was the VP-44?, where did you get it? and does it have new electronics?

gotcha like i said; not too familiar... i knew it was modeled after the VE44 just electronically controlled; wasnt positive HOW electronically controlled it was

the vp 44 is one of the smartest pumps on the market it not only controls fuel delivery but metering and timing its very advanced its also very dependent on perfect conditions which is its biggest down fall who rebuilt the pump you NEED a fp gauge and call airdog
