Edge Comp and Juice are he same thing.

Ye, your trans will eventually go.

For maximum black smoke, pour 5 gallons of gasoline over engine and ignite with a road flare. Remember to not get burned, safety first!

Honestly, the massive smoke clouds only serve to regulate our hobby to the point of having to swap to electric hybrids for more power.

I suggest that you do a full upgrade including new cluches, input shaft, double deep pan, flex-plate and a new valve body. You can upgrade yours or buy a new trans. Upgrade runs about $5000-$6500 including labor and a new trans will run about $3500-$5500 plus labor and shipping in most cases. I did the upgrade with all BD parts and a torque converter locking switch for my exhaust break, and the exhaust break for $8500 installed. It sounds like a lot but my buddy only rebuilt his for $3500 and 2 years later had to rebuild it again. It is worth it to do it right the first time.

I burnt mine up with JUST the EZ from edge. Bought a DTT auto tranny and LOVE it!!! The thing has close to 40k miles on it and shifts just as rock hard as the day i put it in and that's running the juice with attitude, twins, and a heavy foot.

Just remember, for the most part, smoke=wasted power

Once you get a better converter your smoke problem will be on its way. A stiffer converter will load up your engine more in low RPM's and cause the smoke to roll.
