Electrical Question About The Batteries

When I un-hook the negative lead off the main battery I still have juice to my truck. I have to un-hook both of them to completley kill the flow. Is this normal or do I have a short someplace causing this.

Thanks Luke, had me paranoid. I thought I had found all the electrical gremlins and got em fixxed but this was still hangin out there. Guess I just never noticed it through the years.

Every diesel I have saw you have to remove both batteries.

Perfectly normal unless you run the batteries in series.. but then stuff would be letting the smoke out if you did..

very hard to get the smoke back in
