Default Tie rod ends

I need to replace the tie rod end that connects to the pitman arm. Is it the inner, or outer? What is the best brand to replace it with, and where to get it?

I prefer to buy from Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto. They have excellent prices, and if you put TURBODIESEL in the "coupon" line at checkout, you get an addtl 5% off!

My vote for Moog, AC Delco, and XRF.

From personal experiance let me warn you. When you go into the store and request the parts, or any other parts for the front axle of your truck tell them it's for the 3500 and not the 2500. All of the parts stores are geared towards the Gasser versions of our trucks that have a lighter axles under them. Been there done that several times now on this recent project.
