when my truck first goes into overdrive the transmission tries to downshift almost like the converter is locking and unlocking. it only does it between 45 and 55 mph when I am driving easy. once I am over 55 mph the truck runs fine. it did this once before a couple of times then went away, now I cant engage my overdrive until I am over 50 mph. has anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it ?

 

I have had this problem and it was fixed with a BD noise filter, it helps take the noise out of the alternator signal that the TC reads as GO CRAZY. Just make sure when/if you install this that you go buy a can of battery terminal cleaner and sealer. This will solve the issue. To install it takes about 10-15 minutes.
