filter delete
iv seen a lot of fuel filter delete kits for the common rails but none for the vp 24v's i was just wondering why because i would like to delete mine my air dog is bypassing the housing anyway so no fuel heater so i wouldn't see why i would miss it . Any input from someone who has done this would be gratefully appreciated stupid question i guess

I personally kept mine for 2 reasons.
1. The fuel heater since my winter temps are as low as -20*F to -30*F in the dead of winter.
2. The extra filter even though I'm using a 3 micron Donaldson filter on the AirDog 150 the stock filter still gets darken over a period of 50K miles. So I consider it a secondary catch all filter protecting my $1,000 dollar VP44. More filtration is better than not enough. Even CR owners typically run a double stacked filter setup to protect their $3,000 to $4,000 dollar injectors.
Suggestion if it was me I would keep it. Because even with mine I only see about 1-2 PSI drop from Idle to WOT...
