Just looked at picture again and you have a small hyme joint end and what you need is the ball joint. 1 right hand and 1 lefthand.
ya i was gunna get a new rod and ends from Dodge but it was like 50 bucks. i couldnt find anyone that had a replacement. I didnt try fassenal though. they may be able to get me the ball joint kind now that i have a piece to compare it too. if i could still use the pins id like too.

thanks for the pictures Snoot!!! i see what you mean now.

kieron kohlmann - ya thats where i got the part numbers for what ive got now except i went through McMaster-Carr. looks like im gunna be sending em back. only thing that sucks is theres no close cummins dealers around here.

wait i just checked and the ones i ordered are the ball joint ends. maybe i got the wrong end design. McMaster-Carr and McMaster-Carr . guess ill just have to go through cummins.

Use a bolt, the ball on the front just screw out. IF I remember correct its a 8mm wrench on top and a 10mm on the nut on bottom. The one an angle grinder will make quick work.

This thread also has part numbers if you read through it....

You can pay over the phone and have it shipped to your house. I want to say it was like $25 for the rod, ends and new ball studs.

ya thats where i got the numbers from. i think i will just make the ones i have now work so i dont have to pay for shipping to send em back and pay for the same in shipping that id did for the ends in the first place. thanks for all the help guys. i guess i would just recomend buying the ends from cummins in the first place to make things easier.
