Default Need some help with throttle linkage rod

Alright so i bought some new ends for my throttle linkage rod for my pump from McMaster-Carr. I thought they would just snap over the pins like the old ones do but they dont. I though i saw someones setup before on here where it did. Anyone know what i have to do to use them? I was thinking a bolt to replace the pin on the arm on the pump, but i dont know what to do with the other one thats on the bracket thats connected to my throttle cable because its not bolted to it. Any help would be great.

I put a turn buckle on mine. Lol goin down the road and slowly losing throttle. Look over at dad and this is all I hear " I told you to take it easy on the 3 in 1 oil" so yea all I had to keep the turn buckle tight is some wire and blue permatex .

I think you got the wrong part. Mine came with new ends and a rod that used the same *****. I got it maybe 3 months ago.

I just replaced mine, Got them from diesel shop in my town 40 bucks, New rod and lock nuts with 2 new ends. The only thing I dont like is that the new rod is not as big as the new one. old was like 1/4-20 and the new one is alot thinner. I kept the old one which was just bent as a back up.

Just looked at picture again and you have a small hyme joint end and what you need is the ball joint. 1 right hand and 1 lefthand.
