You will have noise with a dual disc because of the floater plate that is in it. My Valair DD is a noisy SOB and one reason could be it's a rigid hub clutch and its full ceramic. But with the dual discs or at least all the ones ive rode in chirp alittle when you let the clutch out. mine does Vinny's does except after sled pulling then they are smooth and quiet for a week or two!!! Anyway you look at it you will love your dual disc

 

Scott i ordered the single disc rated for 400hp i wish i had got the dual disc but that was to much money. I had the original clutch in it for all 380,XXX miles on it so when my carrier barring started going i decided to replace the clutch as well

 

the new dd have rubber on them now where the pilot into the flywheel. the are pretty quiet now. how long the rubber stays on i couldn't tell you but i install quite a few of them.

 

i have a valair dd clutch also and is is very noisy at times. its not too bad idling in neutral but hammering on it about 1750 to 2000 rpms it makes an obnoxious rattling noise. Besides that its a great clutch, smooth engagement.
