Dodges have grid heaters no glow plugs.....

oh , haha .... i learn more on this website in 10 minutes than do in a full day of shop class at school

haha. these are an industrial engine not your average ford or chevy v8 diesel.

Yes their reliable and the only way to have reliability is to made everything different then ford haha. The grid heater is under intake horn easy change,

Good luck with it man. Once you start playing with them there isnt any stoping. Its like a drug. There isnt anything quite like being thrown back in the seat when you hit the gas. And you will allways want more. I am not sure what gens have them (ford guy) but kill the kdp first if it still has it. Atleast thats what everyone says.

2nd gen 12v's are more known for the KDP due to the vibrations from the p pump. my old VE had 203k km on it n the KDP was still snug in it's home. On this p-pump motor I dropped in it was 1/3 of the way out.

None the less it should be done.
