Default Straight pipe question

I have a 2000 Ford 7.3 power stroke with 350,000 miles on it. Would a straight pipe mess anything up since there is so many miles?

Any advise would help, thank you.

Some States require an exhaust system be complete for AQ Inspections. If, you even have it where you are. Otherwise the only other concerns are some report a Drone effect in the cab.

My truck has been straight piped for years, no drone at all.
