Yep pretty cool process. Head surface is machined as well which required a .010 over head gasket.

machinist took off .008 off mine close enough 4 .010 over gasket as well .iff i could have got more info on typ/grade/size of stainless wire my head would b groved for 0-rings. if i blow another h/g ill think harder about sending my head 1500mi to get it done.

Yeah once your head is off you might as well o-ring it. Cost me about $600 for the head work which included the rocker mount machine work which they had to take .200" off for the ARP studs. I'd say it'll take 70 psi off boost on the head no problem. However mine is low 60's. Upgraded IC boots is a must.

, k.a.m fire rings,mags for cracks,serfaces for $330 . got the tour of the shop incredible computer controled equipment .but they had never heard of o-ring w/ stainless wire not a problem he will do machine work but needs the wire .o-well got my head back just resurfaced .to install this weekend w/4k gsk and afc mods. 60psi t/d n fire arms 2boot u rock.latter
