Default Silencer ring on new 6.7 cummins. Should I take it off?

I recently bought a 2011 ram 2500. I'm looking into making the turbo louder. I have already deleted the intake baffle and am wanting to delete the silencer ring. However I have read many bad things about doing so. Apparently on these new 6.7s the silencer ring is actually built into the turbo and must be drilled out? Also I've heard that it's more than "Just" a silencer ring. Please help.

I would recommend just leaving the turbo alone on the truck. You can do an emission delete to hear more of that turbo whistle you are looking for.

As well I would have left those baffles in your air intake tube as they actually help the flow of air into your turbo. Yes on the 6.7 I would really suggest leaving the silencer alone.
