tc lockup switch wiring ?

well that fixed it. i used a high beam switch off an old ford truck to keep my hands free and was thinking about using an in dash indicator light to tell me when its on. can i use the same ground on the switch to go to the light so i can have constant power to the light and the ground would get completed when i engaged the switch
