Ring the head and stud it. Valve springs for the higher rpm and boost #'s later on, also if you want to run an exhaust brake too.

Thank you,

Is there a specific ring set or springs you would go for that is good and inexpensive?

Well dude? It's been 6 weeks without an update. Get her running? Make it to Cleveland?

Hey,

I had to re-focus on the business and getting the booth and everything ready for the show. The show went well and I am actually leaving Cleveland today. I had to just haul a trailer behind the SUV... but the truck will get done. Now I do not have as much of a deadline allowing me to really make everything perfect.

I will post more as progress starts in again.

I was wondering. That was a pretty tight deadline for such a big project.

Thank you!

Well I am back in Oregon and finally back at the shop. BUT I have a lot of work for work to catch up on sales to send out and backorders to fufill all good things but that also means more delays on the truck project.

It was so sad to walk into the shop and see in the dim light the poor old truck sitting neglected and gaining a coat of dust over the last month while I was away. Parts of the truck still strewn about in the mad rush to get out of town.

I think I have decided that the weather in Oregon sucks, it feels colder here than it did when I was in Cleveland and it was 30* colder than here. Everything is wet and cold, the air is wet and cold. I am thinking of moving to New Mexico near Santa Fe. Any thoughts on that? I have been there a few times now it is sunny most of the time and does not get overly hot it only rains for about a mont or two. I actually got a sunburn there during this last trip over the two days i was driving around Santa Fe.

I would still lilke to finish the truck before the move.
