Oregon is one of the few states I haven't visited yet. Been as far west as Idaho Falls, Idaho. Would love to visit both Oregon and Washington but it's just so far to drive and with diesel fuel pushing $3.50 a gallon here (50-60 cents a gallon more than gas

Yeah, it makes no sense that diesel is more... it is refined less, sold to big trucks so large volume per sale.
I am actually going to run a WVO system on my truck, so I will be running free to $1.5 per gallon for most of the trip
I am trying to locate some large Semi truck tanks so I do not need to fuel up as much. I am hoping to get 15-20 mpg, well I am actually hoping to be mid 20's but we will see. With 5,000 miles it will take about 250 gallons of fuel at 20 mpg, so if I can find a 100 gal tank I can get most of the way there without filling up. Most likely I will find smaller tanks to fit the best.
I have a really cool controller on the way, valves are here, one of the heat exchangers is here. The WVO system is going to be great! The Alarm I an using has a built in turbo timer and I may hook it up to the WVO system so I can park the truck, take out the keys, and the truck will run for a while, cool down the turbo and purge the WVO from the lines.

Oh ok. I was back an forth through there summer 09 when I was hualing stuff up to sunnyside WA. If it was southern OR I might have made a road trip to come help, but norhtern OR is a long way.
Yeah it is a long trip, and the winter is not when you really want to visit Oregon, summer is great the rest is dark and wet. At least the shop is dry and not that dark
