Default Transmission work for 300-400hp

I m just wondering, but do you think i need to do to have my auto transmission handle 300-400hp properly in my 98' dodge? What type of stuff should i do to it? How much do you think it'll cost? Or what stuff have you guys done to your transmissions?

As long as everything seems to be in good working condition, then a tourque convertor and a valve body will take you a long way, if the tranny is already on its way out, then rebuild it and do those 2 mods.

If all the clutches and everything internal is good, torque converter and valvebody should be just fine as long as you dont run the **** out of it all the time.
