O ring or fire ring
yes that what I mean when I'm talking about retorquing with o rings upon install I run through the normal torque pattern with all nuts and studs, than break one loose at a time and retorque after that that's it.
I personally have not seen a blown gasket with no retorques after initial install with o rings.

So after taking the head off I discovered that the guy who installed my head studs didn't put a new head gasket in. And one of the head studs was not completely screwed in. The guy messing with it now took the stud out with his fingers without using a tool. Awesome workmanship.

WOW ... fantastic .. they do say in my instructions that you can use some red Loctite ... which will help keep the stud from vibrating loose .... not a bad idea ... probably gonna do that for mine .. I like insurance
Did some research on the guy who I'm having the problems with. I'm finding out I should have done the research before I had the work done. There are multiple complaints about this guy. And if I don't hear from him soon I will put his name out on all message boards.
