yes that what I mean when I'm talking about retorquing with o rings upon install I run through the normal torque pattern with all nuts and studs, than break one loose at a time and retorque after that that's it.
I personally have not seen a blown gasket with no retorques after initial install with o rings.

So after taking the head off I discovered that the guy who installed my head studs didn't put a new head gasket in. And one of the head studs was not completely screwed in. The guy messing with it now took the stud out with his fingers without using a tool. Awesome workmanship.
