ok thanks. i've read about issues that pop up after you take the muffler off a gasser, but diesels are ok to do this to, right? if its going to kill the motor due to lack of backpressure, i don't wanna do it

Dude. Turbodiesels need ZERO backpressure. Forget that gasser crap. The turbo provides PLENTY of backpressure. I have a 3" exhaust and 2.5" dp and this thing sounds great.
