I know I need guages but I don't know which ones I need. I have a 94 12v that i would realy like to tinker with. Ya know sliding the plate, housing, preboost screw, and injectores. No matter what I do I would like to have the guages.. could I get some help??

 

Basic gauges you need are boost, egt, trans temp if it's auto. And a fuel pressure at the ppump is a very useful one. I'm yet to get that but it is important. Especially with a stock lift pump. There are plenty of companies that make all those. Also drive pressure once you get further down the road in performance.

 

Agreed. EGT mainly. Then trans if it's auto, yeah. Fuel pressure has it's uses, but it's a PITA to make it work right with the stock lift pump. Boost is more of a curiosity than anything, but I've bought more of them than anything else. Not sure how far down that road you'd need to be to need to monitor drive pressure in the cabin all the time. Biggest problem is finding places for them all without feeling like you're sitting in a Christmas tree going down the road at night.
