You'd be doing him a favor at a dollar a mile. Be sure you have insurance coverage or have him sign a damage/loss waiver.

id figure out how many tanks of fuel it would take and round up. say it would take two tanks of fuel at $87 per tank for a total of $174. so i would do it for $200 even.

i hauled 2 cars for a friends dad last summer. i told him i would do it for free. i broke a come along and bent a ramp on the trailer. plus it was the biggest b*tch unloading them in an alley way that i could barely back my truck in let alone back a trailer around into the back yard. it was hell and it took me all day between loading driving and unloading. did i mention it was a 100 degree day. but back to the point after all was said and done he didnt even give me money for fuel or damage ( not even a beer). it kinda upset me
