Default ? about hauling

Well i was wondering if anyone on here went to the sand dunes in michigan (silver lake)? I have been up there once two years ago and it was a blast, just would like more people to ride with.

And also what is the advantage of a 6 speed over an automatic? Does it haul more or less?

The manual trannies always have a higher tow rating then the auto's do.

If you want speed and have the money to spend on the upgrades then the auto's are for you. The auto's won't hold up to much in the way of HP increases though in the from the factory configuration.

The 6 speed manual trannies are not speed machines, you aren't gonna beat anybody off the lights but they will hold any HP you can throw at em.

The both have they're good and bad points, it's just like truck color, all personal preference.

i thought that the manual tranny had the higher tow rating, someone told me that the autos do. I dont really want this to be a speed machine, just a reliable driver and tow what ever i could throw at it.
