Now I got to find some nice black rims. The guy who mounted the tires said the rims need replaced. There must be about 10 ounces of lead on each wheel.

I'd like to find a 16" that doesn't stick out too far ... anyone got any advice?

BTW: The wheels that's on the truck are the steel wheels, chromed, which I believe have a 4.75" backspace. If I was going to go with a 4.5" to 5.0" backspaced wheel, would this work?

Ive got some black wheels bookmarked. Will have to find them for ya. Black wheels are great - look good and are CHEAP.

Is it the tires out a round or the rims. If your rims are that bad, what did you run into. If the tires that bad I think I would have to be talkin to somebody. Did it take that much weight with the old tires?

I really didn't pay attention to what was on the other tires. What could cause the tires to be a problem? Maybe it was the guy who was balancing them? I don't really know.
