I think I found the problem with the weight.

I was looking at the specs for the tire and noticed it's not supposed to be mounted on a rim narrower than 7.5 inches ... mine are the stock 6.5's ... oops! No worries, I am looking at a set of Eagle 187's, 16x8, which I should have by the weekend. Here's a pic:

and in black, if I can afford them:

What do you think?

Dennis, you'll appreciate this ... I changed my mind again ... what a surprise!

I ordered some American Racing Outlaw II's, 16x8, this afternoon and should have them by the weekend ... what do you think?

Thanks for the links, Shane, I appreciate it.

I just received confirmation that the wheels will be here Thursday. I couldn't beat the deal; all four wheels for $289 plus $75 shipping. The cheapest I found them locally was $505 plus tax.

As far as those balancing beads are concerned; do you think I can buy them locally?

We use Goodyear to maintain some of our city vehicles (tires, oil changes, etc.), so I'm going to hit them up this week to see if they'll do a "good buddy" price for fitment.

Lookin at the site and just happen to think, did you check to make sure these things are weight rated high enough for our trucks. Alot of the alluminum rims aren't. Just somethin more to think about

Yeah, I made sure it was. If you go onto American Racing's website, there's an application chart. You punch in the specs of your vehicle and it tells you which wheels fit your vehicle. I also told the people at Tomzwheels that it was a diesel and they said the wheels would work fine.
