Thats a nice truck. Nice thing about this one is there are NO dents at all, body is perfect but paint is fading on hood and roof. Also, this one comes w/the factory dually bed, he just put the flatbed on it a coupla weeks ago. Ill probably just sell the western hauler bed, i prefer the factory bed.

Oh, and im gettin it for $7500, not gonna get it till later this week, after he has put all the new front end stuff on it, the steering is wanderin pretty bad and we agreed on the price after he fixed all of it.

So, i think $7500 is a good price, i aint stealing it, but i could turn it over and make some $ off it if needed.

Good deal, that is a nice truck. I think I'm going to sell mine and go older.

That's pretty slick for a first genner. I know one thing, the ol' 12Vs like that sound damned good. I've got a friend with one (I can't recall the year model right now). It's straight-piped and sounds totally hot. I wish my 24V sounded half as good.

Hey Wyo! Sorry I missed all this! Between work, my side business, and makin my 1st gen more like a semi, I tend to miss some good discussions! $7500 is dead on what it would go for, off of E-bay. Specially with the stock bed and western hauler bed. U wouldnt be going to Indy in june by anychance would ya? I need a new bed, and im not sure what im going to do, stock, or aftermarket built. I kinda like the whole style of the truck, but a 4x4, x-cab, dually, with the stock bed just looks bad a$$ too.

JMalone, Dont worry, its the attempt that scores ya a few points in the loud pipe catagory. hehehe Nothin like a 12 valve with stacks!

Well, the western hauler bed sold on ebay for $1924, that money is goin to new paint, 4" turbo back exhaust, and turbo upgrades, if i can afford all that. She's goin in the paint shop tomorrow, take a week or so to get it back, cant wait. I put new pins and bushings in the doors and shimmed em, they were saggin real bad. Also found me a tailgate and rear bumper, cuz it didnt come w/em. Im havin real problems finding parts for this truck. I need both tranny and xcase shifter *****, mouldings, and the little rubber piece that goes inbetween the dually fender and the bed.

Whats goin on in indy in june?

They have the fender "welt" for the dually fenders. Possibly even have the ***** too.
The old IRP (indy race park) new ORP (O'Reilly race park) holds a diesel event every year. I guess its kinda like a Mecca for diesel guru's. Im thinking about going, it 2 days. I started a thread on it over on CF in the national chapter forum.
June 2-3 are the dates. I guess festivities start that thursday (off-site).

huh, I havent ever ordered anything from them, I was going to get the dually fenders (dirt cheap), but bought a whole new box for less then both fenders. I have a number of sites I saved from a post elsewhere, if I can find it again, I'll give ya the link. But now ya know what they are called so I immagine a Dealer can get em for ya round the same price.
