It was very disappointing to me, too.
I expected to save a bit on rust transformers or sandblasting parts. I even tried different brands.

I does develop lots of rust due to its aggressiveness- but you can't get rid of it.
Try the use of Coca-Cola instead. It does contain a huge amount of phosphoric acid, which is known to be a good rust converter. But you won't get a surface like those sandblasted looking prop shafts.

Fleischmann's Vinegar is one of my customers. That stuff is highly corrosive. You gotta only use 316ss metal parts and EPR elastomers. If not it's gonna eat it. Any non SS parts are quickly eaten away. Oh ya they make the White Vinegar.

My wife introduced me to the vinegar on the sunburn, yes, it works! I will have to give it a try on my weeds. Thanks for sharing!

I just looked at those pics again. . . Maybe what he did would have worked pretty good. I don't think those drive lines were rusted very badly at all. I don't know..... I still want this to work.

Deezel Stink3r, could you post us some pics of what you tried to clean up? I hope that yours was more like how mine look (A lot more rust). Maybe this 'chemical' cleaning can only handle light rust and dirt..... For more dirt and heavy rust you need to resort to something like sandblasting! . . . I don't know. . . .

(Oh, my wife informs me that vinegar runs about $1 a gallon. . . So it would still be too expensive for weed killer too.)

I'm scheduled to go to Fleischmann's Monday to install a pump. I'll see if i can't get a couple gallons to try on the weeds and rust. They go lots of the stuff.

yes, it will get water marks off the windows. Use newspaper to clean the windows- is very fine abrasive and will take the stains and dirt.
Roll the windows a bit down before you start- this way you will also clean the lip usually covered in rubber...
