Vinegar works miracles.
I wasn't sure where to post this, so here goes.
It's a slide show that depicts how vinegar can remove rust. I found it posted on another forum this morning. Enjoy. http://www.cookhaus.co.uk/vinegar/index.htm |
wow them did clean up good

I knew vinegar does a lot of different things, but never used it on rust. I will definitely try it though. :humm:
|
I got to try this out.

Hmm, where are those small rust holes? Vinegar has no hole fill up abilities...:moon:
Coca-Cola does work also very good on rust( it does contain a huge amount of phosphor acid), but it also can't repair rust bites. |
That lloks great, but how much did you have to scrub it(hard, soft). and did you let it soak or just start scrubbing?
|
me too :tu:

This summer if anyone gets a bad sunburn, rub white vinegar
on, and pain will go away. |

So I know that vinegar works great on water stains- but rust has a complete different composition.
Do an experiment with Coca-Cola. Throw your rusty tools into Coca-Cola and after a couple of days they look almost as new. I tried that and it works. Coca-Cola on sunburns does not work...:c: |
