Wow! Sorry guys, somehow my alerts have not been getting emailed to me, so I kinda forgot to update this. I haven't been getting much of anything done. We're still messing with the bed, which ended up a much larger project than I had thought it would be! Also, I have been working 40-50 hours a week and preparing for summer school

Anyway, got a call from dad today to finalize some plans on the bed and he said he has the whole rear of the bed finished, now he is going to finish the front today. Next up will be tail lights, turn signals and marker lights, then it will get sand blasted and send to paint!

I will be going back home next weekend to get some more stuff done to it, will prolly be finishing up the interior. We got a line on a good deal for some solid oak for the bed from a family friend, so I will get to do an actual oak bed

Once again I am excited about this project. I can't lie and say I haven't become a bit unmotivated about it lately. It's hard when I am so far away from it and have such insane time constraints, but it WILL get done this summer!

So... I decided that since my car needs a bigger nitrous system, I will be putting a little nitrous on the truck.

Still no REAL updates, since I am stuck working 50 hours weeks along with going to summer school... Dad has the bed back on the truck so he can mount the exhaust. I will be buying a sand blaster here in the next week or 2 so I can blast the bed and a few random parts. Thinking about ditching the VGT turbo... or jumping in head first and doing VGT twins... not really sure on that one.

 

Go easy on the nitrous killer, make sure your tune up is right or else you'll look something like this.




That was a 406 SBC that a guy thought he could lay a 300 shot too, broke a wrist pin and well you see.

 

For the Mustang, you're saying? The motor should be able to take pretty well over a 500 shot and I really only plan to hit it with about 300-400. This is all down the road a bit though...

For the truck, I only plan to hit it with a little shot to clean it up and put down a neat number. Moreso for show than anything else, . I don't plan on pulling the truck because I am afraid the frame will bend, I can't drag race it because the Getrag will kill me, hell... I'm not even so sure it will fit on my dyno! But, I have the parts laying around so why not put em on?!
