Looking to buy a cummins. Should I go stock or one that's modified?

I'd go stock. Better have a good base than try and deal with something someone else could of modified incorrectly. If the mods were done wrong or abused, you could be replacing them in the near future. Get the stock truck and put a lift pump on it ASAP!!!! Then add which ever performance mods you want as you go. Its worth the wait to do it yourself
