Looking to buy a cummins. Should I go stock or one that's modified?

depends if you yourself arnt a mechanic it wouldnt hurt to bring someone along or go to a shop and have them to a check on both trucks. ask a million questions and get the facts on both. haggle with them

I'd go stock. Better have a good base than try and deal with something someone else could of modified incorrectly. If the mods were done wrong or abused, you could be replacing them in the near future. Get the stock truck and put a lift pump on it ASAP!!!! Then add which ever performance mods you want as you go. Its worth the wait to do it yourself
