I made one for my lb7, I lost all my power and did not get any smoke. I used a quad s2 for a while and had a good amount of smoke, but the truck ran kinda crappy. I have efi live with a dsp5 now, I don't get as much smoke as the quad but it is WAY faster.

I never said it was the right way, I just said its the Cheap way. To each there own. I personally agree, i like the tuner idea better. i have a Hypertech tuner and it smokes more than stock (not much but its at leasy noticible now). The HP and TQ gains are great, and i caught a good deal on it ($100) but not everyone has luck or mad cash to throw at tuners. thats y i say HEY if you can "GHETTO" rig a smoke switch and it doesnt burn your wallet, and its something you want, GO FOR IT!
